Did you know that 45% of Americans make New Year’s resolutions? 8% are successful in achieving them. 25% of people who make New Year’s resolutions don’t even make it to the first week. 47% set resolutions related to self-improvement or education. 38% set resolutions related to weight. 31% set resolutions related to relationships and 34% set resolutions to money.

So what are YOUR New Year’s Resolutions for 2014?

One thing I have learned over the years is when we write them all down we read them for a while but then for some reason the paper gets lost and we don't continue to monitor our goals and dreams and move forward.

What has worked for me is to record them on a CD and listen to myself making those resolutions when I am driving or at home, as I am the one saying I will achieve those things. We can achieve anything that we want; it’s totally up to us.

Another thing I also have found that works for me is to do a VISION BOARD.  For years I have been teaching others how to do their Vision Board and they are finding their dreams and goals are coming true. Why is that?   I believe that it’s because our Vision Board is always visible to us with its pictures and words so it constantly reminds us visually of what we need to achieve and keeps us on track to accomplish those goals and dreams.

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board (also called a Treasure Map or a Visual Explorer or Creativity Collage) is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you've torn out from various magazines. 

The idea behind this is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.
