When the Menifee Valley Medical Center administrators learned of Mayor Winter’s passing, they asked how they can help. The Winter family suggested that donations be made to Menifee’s Boys & Girls Club in his name. The medical center, which is part of Physicians for Healthy Hospitals, made a $500 donation in loving memory of Mayor Neil Winter. 

Rich Biber, who represents the medical center, said his organization appreciated Winter’s desire to cultivate a positive relationship between the city and the hospital. 

Mayor Winter had recently spent an afternoon at Menifee’s Boys & Girls Club sharing his advice with teens about preparing for their careers, and the importance of a good education. He recognized the value that Menifee’s non-profit youth organization provides to his community’s young people and their parents.

At the request of the Winter family, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley.
