At one time the Estudillo Family owned over 110,000 acres in the San Jacinto Valley. Francisco Estudillo built this brick mansion in 1884 and his brother Antonio built a duplicate across the valley. It is one of the most historically significant structures in Riverside County.
The San Jacinto Museum has relocated to Estudillo Heritage Park and includes historic treasures from one of California's oldest cities, Indian artifacts from our local tribes and other historic memorabilia.
The Francisco Estudillo Heritage Park is the site of many city sponsored events, most notable is the 4th of July celebration, during which the mansion is open for tours. The Estudillo Mansion is open to the public every Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm.
The San Jacinto Museum and grounds with Water Conservation Education Garden are open Friday – Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
