The City of Menifee and CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire would like our residents to understand that the use of fireworks, including Safe and Sane (i.e. sparklers, poppers, etc.), are strictly prohibited within the Menifee city limits.
While coordinating our annual 4th of July Safety message in the Menifee Matters publication, and introducing our new Division Chief Kirk Barnett, we included Firework
Safety bullet points from CAL FIRE’s public website. This message includes general information for communities that allow the use of fireworks, should residents utilize them outside of city limits. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Please take a moment to watch our fireworks safety message that was created in coordination with Cal Fire and the City of Menifee on our Youtube channel:

The City of Menifee will also be putting on a safe and family-friendly event this weekend for residents to celebrate our nation’s independence while enjoying a fireworks show on Saturday, June 29 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Wheatfield Park, 30627 Menifee Rd.
