MENIFEE -- The City of Menifee Community Services Department is excited to host the 2nd annual Menifee Youth Advisory Committee fundraiser Comedy Show and Dinner. This fun evening will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center (29995 Evans Road, Menifee). Dinner begins at 6:00pm with the show beginning at 6:30pm. The show is appropriate for all ages and features professional comedians from Southern California provided by Comedy for Causes. This year’s theme is ‘Blast to the Past’, so come dressed in your favorite time era for a chance to win prizes!
The Menifee Valley Lions Club and the Healthy Menifee Program have teamed up to sponsor the event to provide a tasty spaghetti dinner, complete with salad, and a beverage.
A new addition to this year’s event is an ‘Open Mic’ portion of the evening for high school students to showcase their talents, such as singing, comedy, dance, instrument, etc. Interested performers must contact Michael Rinehart or 951-723-3709, to reserve a three (3) minute time slot. Space is limited, so reserve your space early! All material must be family friendly and kept to three minutes or less.
Comedy for Causes is a local company that helps raise awareness and money for various causes while providing a great night of laughter! The event is hosted by Comedy for Causes owner, Laniea Dominguez, who will be joined by two professional comedians, George Wang and Zac Elk.
Tickets for this fun evening are $15.00 per person, or $50.00 for a four-pack, which includes a pasta dinner, salad, garlic knots, beverages, and a hilarious night of comedy that you won’t soon forget! All the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Menifee Youth Advisory Committee. Tickets on sale now at www.universe.com/MenifeeComedyShow.
